As we approach the 2022-2023 school year, we want to make you aware of changes coming to our school nutrition program. During the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years, the USDA provided funding that allowed school districts to provide all students with school lunches free of charge. Unfortunately, this funding was not extended, meaning we will no longer be able to offer lunch for free to all students. Students in Anderson 3 will still be offered free school breakfast.
There is still a way for your student to receive free meals by completing a meal application here: https://bit.ly/A3LunchApp. To complete the application, you will need documentation such as a recent pay stub, food stamp (SNAP or TANF) case number, or a Medicaid card, if applicable. We want to remind you that the information provided in the application is confidential. Students who receive free or reduced lunch will not be singled out or distinguished differently from those who pay. Below you will find a link to our charge policy and meal prices for this year. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the changes to this policy, please contact our office at 864-348-6196.
