📖 Crescent Teacher Cadets are honing their read-aloud skills!📚 After a lesson on best practices from Mrs. Krista Gray, Flat Rock Elementary's Librarian, the cadets visited classrooms where they read stories to the kindergarten through 2nd grade classes. Anderson Institute of Technology (AIT) will be hosting several open house events and informational sessions/tours during the 2024-25 school year. The events are open to current students and parents, potential students and parents, or anyone interested in learning more about the opportunities at AIT. This is a great opportunity to tour the building and see the amazing programs available to our students. Please see the attached flyer for specific details.

Students and Parents: We had a great 1st day today. Welcome back Tiger Nation! Please see a couple of safety and procedure reminders below: 1. No hats are allowed in the building at CHS. If we see the hats, we will take them. Please leave hats in vehicles or bags! 2. Cell Phones are allowed before/after school and at lunch. No cell phones in hallways during school hours. 3. No earbuds at school. Thank You for helping keep our school safe and helping us protect instructional time.

See below for a few Important First Day Reminders: 📅 First Day of School: Thursday, August 1st 🔋 Chromebooks: Students must charge their Chromebooks & bring them ready to use on the first day. 9th graders will receive their Chromebooks during the first week of school. 📄 Class Schedules: Students will receive a final copy of their class schedule on colored paper before first block. 🏫 Doors Open: 7:30 AM 🕗 1st Period Begins: 8:00 AM 🥞 Breakfast will be served in the commons area.

Welcome Back, Mr. Brandon Lackey! 🤩🎉 Mr. Lackey has joined our Crescent Team as an Administrative Assistant. Brandon is a graduate of CHS. He has actually worked for Anderson 3 in various capacities since his Junior Year of High School. He recently obtained a Bachelors in Graphic Communications from Clemson University. Mr. Lackey is a #TrueTiger, and we could not be happier for him to rejoin our team here at CHS. 💛
