Our kindergarteners enjoyed their visit from Mrs. Jessica Simpson with Clemson 4-H. Students are currently incubating baby chicks in their classrooms. Thank you, Mrs. Simpson, for demonstrating how to candle a chicken egg to check on the embryo inside. 🐣

We had “boogie fever” today at our Boogie for Babies dance to raise money for March of Dimes! Thank you to all who participated. 💃🕺
Reminder: Flat Rock will host "Boogie for Babies" this Friday during Related Arts classes. Entry is $3 and snacks are $1 each. Students may wear 70s attire for the event. 🕺

We had a great time at our school Jet Toy competition! Students were rewarded for their score in distance, accuracy, time, and weight. The top 5 highest scoring teams will move on to compete in the A3 District Competition! 🎈🏎️

Our 1st grade students had a blast using their inferencing skills with The Case of the Missing Teacher based on the book "Miss Nelson is Missing." Students recorded evidence in their detective notebooks to help them solve the case!

Flat Rock students enjoyed a visit by Greenville Drive mascot Reedy for our Michelin All Stars Reading Challenge. Students are working to read 5 books in 5 weeks (Feb.6-Mar 10).
