Mrs. Loftis’ 1st grade class has enjoyed studying pumpkins. They have measured, explored the insides, and even planted flowers in their pumpkins to make beautiful fall decorations! 🎃

Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated at Flat Rock Elementary School next week, October 25 - 28, 2021. Dress up days are as follows:
Monday: Dress for Success (Students may dress in clothing to show what career they would like to have when they grow up, or they may dress in their Sunday best.)
Tuesday: Crazy Sock Day
Wednesday: Camouflage Day
Thursday: Favorite Book Character Day
Students must meet school dress code daily.

Mrs. Loftis’ 1st Grade Class went on a nature walk for fall leaves. Students made observations on their leaves and completed a leaf report. 🍁
Students can shop at the Book Fair at school through Tuesday. Families can also shop online through Oct 17 at www.scholastic.com/fair (type in Flat Rock Elementary, select our school, and start shopping!). Orders $25 or more ship free and all orders ship directly to your home.

This is a reminder that tomorrow is picture day.
In coordination with DHEC, Anderson 3 will host a free Pfizer vaccine clinic at Crescent High School tomorrow, Friday, September 10th, from 2-5 PM. The clinic will be held in the New Gym parking lot. All staff, students (12+), and community members are welcome to attend.
