Congratulations to our Flat Rock student, Alyssa Dawkins. Her 10U Starr Iva All Stars softball team won the state softball tournament and finished third in the World Series in Louisiana! Alyssa, we are so proud of you!
Flat Rock students who have completed registration online do not have to come to school for registration tomorrow. We will register all other students tomorrow during the hours of 8 to 11:30 and 1 to 4. A new awning for the bus rider line was recently added to Flat Rock. A special outdoor classroom is an ongoing project, thanks to grants from Michelin. Landscaping and a new garden were recently added, with plans for future tables and additional landscaping.

Our Deb Madden was honored tonight at the Anderson 3 Board of Trustees meeting for her 28 years of service to the students of Anderson 3! Congratulations Mrs. Madden!
Our Tiger Award winner this year is....Amira Hjiri! The Tiger award is Flat Rock's highest award and is presented to the 5th grade student who exemplifies the Flat Rock spirit!
Our DAR winner for 2019 is Dakota Richard! The Daughters of the American Revolution Youth Citizenship Award is presented to an 5th grade student who displays honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism. Congrats, Dakota!
