IES Families,
Tomorrow, we will have a materials pickup in the car rider line at the back of the school from 8am-2pm. Parents picking up chrome books for grades 3-5 and possibly e-learning packets as well will go through the left lane in an effort to sign out chrome books. Parents picking up necessary e-learning packets ONLY will go through the right lane of traffic. Please do NOT get out of your car. We will deliver everything to you as quickly as possible. Check with your student and your studentโs teacher to ensure they have what they need. If they are K-2 and have their e-learning packets for the extended break, you do not have to come pick up materials. This materials pickup tomorrow is only for students who do not have necessary materials with them at this time in order to complete the extended elearning assignments from Wednesday, March 18th until the end of the month. If you have any questions, please reach out to your childโs teacher or call the school in the morning. We are more than happy to help as we are navigating this process for the first time alongside you. Thank you for your support. We hope you and your families stay healthy, and we are already missing your sweet children.

Iva Elementary will be raising money for March of Dimes on March 16-19. Students can purchase a nameplate to display outside their classrooms for $1.00. They may purchase as many of these as they would like! ANY class that raises $40 will be treated to an extra recess! The class with the most money raised will also win a pizza party! Let's work together for stronger, healthier babies!

Parents, as you know, flu season is upon us. Please take extra precautions to make sure our kids remain healthy. Washing book bags and jackets will help in this process. This is just a reminder that students must be fever-free for 24 hours before they return to school.

Parents, please remember that you may not drop your car riders off after 7:45am at the back of the school. Students must be in their seats at 7:45am, and if they are late, they must be escorted in and signed in at the front office. Thank you so much for your help in this matter!

Families were climbing to new heights at IES 3rd-5th Grade STEM Night tonight. They enjoyed building rainbow towers and testing their strength and durability! Thanks for all that you do for our STEM Program, Mrs. Stone!
