The end of the school year is almost here, and we are making preparations for closing the Health Office. We do not store medicines at the school over the summer. Just a reminder: Field Day Tuesday will be K4-2, Wednesday 3-5: it is going to be very hot. The students will get wet. Shirts and shorts must be worn at all times. Students staying after field day MUST bring a change of clothes.

Third graders have been working hard researching and developing solutions to real world environmental problems. Many groups developed working models of their solutions and tested various variables.

One group determine mining polluted the water. The developed a floating device that will clean the water.
One group studied landslides. They determined adding mounds to land would prevent some erosion.

Spring Fling Update: May 10th 5-7 pm. We still need donations for raffle baskets. Bracelets are on sale for $8 as well as "Pie-in-the Face" tickets for $1. You may also begin selling raffle tickets ($1) for baskets. Turn in your dinner reservations. Don't forget to find your Hawaiian attire!
