Crescent High School Names Ethan Hannah, Head Wrestling Coach for 2023-24
Crescent High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Ethan Hannah as the new Head Coach of the Crescent Wrestling program. Coach Hannah is a 2016 Crescent graduate and has been an assistant coach with the wrestling program at Crescent for the past several years.
During his time as a student-athlete at Crescent, Ethan was a 3-year varsity wrestler and was Region Champion three times. He finished his career at Crescent with over 70 wins and was offered the opportunity to continue his wrestling career at Newberry College. As an assistant coach, Ethan was on the staff that won the AA State Title in 2021. Last season, he took charge of the day-to-day wrestling operations for our middle school program.
“We are very excited about the future potential of our wrestling program under Coach Hannah’s leadership,” said Athletic Director Jeff Craft. “Ethan is very aware of our program and where we want it to be and is committed to further developing a program with high expectations for all, both on and off the mat. I love the energy and enthusiasm he has already demonstrated, and I know he is committed to filling a coaching staff of like-minded adults devoted to excellence for our kids, school, and programs.”
